hey! i’m Yixuan Zhu.
I’m a digital illustrator and motion designer based in Auckland, New Zealand. Before moving to New Zealand in 2016, I was a children's programme TV director in China, which taught me skills in storytelling in and team communication.
As a designer, I’m interested in combining the narrative and visual aspects in illustration and animation. Together, they can make a lot of impossibilities in real life possible and empower us with an alternative way to talk about the topics we fear, we hide, or we can hardly put into words. I hope we can connect through this amazing world of motion.
